What A Weekend!

WELL WHAT CAN I SAY, ANOTHER WEEKEND DOWN.\

SATURDAY I WORKED AND IT WAS GOD AWFUL!!  NOTHING WAS CLEAN, STUPID PATIENTS AND THE 2 SCREAMING AUTISTIC KIDS DIDN'T HELP MATTERS.  WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY I WENT HOME AND DRANK.  I DIDN'T JUST HAVE 1 DRINK I HAD A WHOLE BOTTLE OF SKINNY GIRLS MARGS AND STARTED ON THE SECOND BOTTLE.  AND YOU KNOW WHAT....I FELT BETTER!  I DIDN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT MY DIRTY SOCKS THAT I TOOK OFF AND THREW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FLOOR.  WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS STARVING WHEN DINNER TIME ROLLED AROUND AND ORDERED FOOD AND THEN BY 8 O'CLOCK I COULD NOT WAIT TO GO TO BED AND FOR THE DAY TO BE OVER WITH!

SUNDAY I SPENT A LOVELY AFTERNOON AT THE BLINDS FOR A POOL PARTY.  I GUESS THAT'S IT TILL NEXT SUMMER :(

AND OF COURSE MY WEEKEND WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN COMPLETE WITHOUT OLIVE GARDEN AND MEAGAN WAXING MY ARM PITS!

My Birth Story!!

Well since everyone was putting their kids birth stories (and I don't have a kid) I'm going to share my birth story

August 6, 1983 I was born.  The End

5 Days Later......

August 11, 1983
9:30am, Norma gets "the call"  We have a baby girl waiting for you, come get her!  My mom was so excited she called her neighbor and said "Linda, I'm getting a daughter today come over her now!!"  Once Linda arrived they didn't pick an outfit out, they didn't pack a bag or put a car seat in the care.  All they did was boil nipples!  Mom sometimes in all the excitement called my dad at work.  He happened to be about an hour away at a big meeting.  Once mom convinced the sectary that this was an emergency and go get him he left to come home immediately.
Once dad got home he and my mom drove to adoption agency to get me.  I was the only girl out 5 babies, and they got me!!!!  They are so lucky!!
On the drive home dad had left work without eating lunch and it was 3:30pm by now so he was starving.  They went through DQ drive through and the worker said "oh my gosh a new baby.  (she then looked at my mom and said)  wow you look great!"  My dad responded "the trick is don't let them rest.  Got to get up and moving right away."  My dad, always the jokester!

Gettin Old

So I totally forgot to put this in my weekend wrap up (cause I'm getting old and forgetful!)

so Saturday night after me and Lee (co-worker) left Mary's we were heading to the office.  Right as we came into Red Bud Crazy Train came on the radio.  Well we both got super excited and decided we couldn't get out of the car until it was over.  So we decided to take a lap through town with the windows down the the radio turned up.  First of all I think we were the only ones in town taking a lap so that was a little depressing.  Well as we drove through the square we decided to go through the park.  As we entered I decided to turn the radio down so I wouldn't disrupt the stoners.  Surprise Surprise...there were no stoners there!  It's sad that this era of stoners don't even know the park is where you hang out.

Man, I'm getting old!

Weekend Wrap Up

My first weekend wrap up!!  Since the system is down at work, AGAIN, I figured this would be a good time to catch you all up.

Well Friday was kind of a bitter sweet day.  A girl at the office, who has been there for 12 years, is going back to school and Friday was her last day.  I've learned a lot from her and will miss her but since she lives in Red Bud I'm almost positive I'll be seeing her frequently!  So in honor of her last day one of the doctors decided to but the off ice cream.  Quoting the worker from Sonic "HOOK UP!"  That evening  about 20 of us went to celebrate at Mary's.  Some of the girls had never been there before so walking in there was a total shock to some!!  Some of us blocked the kitchen so 1 girl in particular couldn't look in.  But we all survived ate, drank (Some more then others.  And by some I mean me!) and laughed.
Saturday I had to get up and go to work like usual (cause I'm a dedicated employee!)  Late in the afternoon I babysat a 3 month old, Tripp, and a 1 year old, Norah.  For the most part everything went well except when I had to put Tripp to bed.  I had blocked off the hallway so Norah couldn't get into anything.  Well I put her in the hallway went back to get Tripp and Norah freaked out!!  I guess she though I was gonna leave her over there to fend for herself.  Long story short I was holding Tripp wrapped in a blanket and holding his paci in his mouth in my left arm and in my right arm was Norah, still crying, and her purse.  Boy I could have used a cocktail right about then!  Good luck Cassie, Kim and Meagan!
Sunday was shopping with mom!  I didn't get everything I needed but most of it!  I took mom out to lunch at Chilies since I had a $50 gift card....mmmmm it was sooo delicious!  And of course we had to hit up Starbucks!  The evening came to and end with Dicarlo's pizza, True Blood and some Kardashian's.

Here We Go

My first blog...yikes!!

Well let me catch you up on what has been going on lately.  I just turned 28 and I live by myself in Red Bud (no kids no man...sadness)  I'm a medical assistant and work in a doctor's office but will be going back to school very soon to get my LPN!  Yeah me!!  I can't wait to go back to school.  I will either start in January or July 2012 depending on when the first opening is.  Everyone hope for January!!  I'm hoping school will be challenging but also pretty easy since I have been in the medical field for 12 years.

So if you haven't figured it out already I'm not getting a new car any time soon since I'll be in school.  Hope it doesn't catch on fire again!!  I am seriously going to have to start super glueing all the pieces that fall off...cause it's really that bad!  I do have the car I want all picked out, a Nissan Rouge, but I guess that is just wishful thinking for now.  However if you ever pass me on the road and my car is on fire the rule is to wait 10 mineuts then call 911.  I want to make sure it burns down to the ground this time!

Well I guess this is it for my first blog.  I'm sure I will have much more to talk about in the future.
