Well since everyone was putting their kids birth stories (and I don't have a kid) I'm going to share my birth story
August 6, 1983 I was born. The End
5 Days Later......
August 11, 1983
9:30am, Norma gets "the call" We have a baby girl waiting for you, come get her! My mom was so excited she called her neighbor and said "Linda, I'm getting a daughter today come over her now!!" Once Linda arrived they didn't pick an outfit out, they didn't pack a bag or put a car seat in the care. All they did was boil nipples! Mom sometimes in all the excitement called my dad at work. He happened to be about an hour away at a big meeting. Once mom convinced the sectary that this was an emergency and go get him he left to come home immediately.
Once dad got home he and my mom drove to adoption agency to get me. I was the only girl out 5 babies, and they got me!!!! They are so lucky!!
On the drive home dad had left work without eating lunch and it was 3:30pm by now so he was starving. They went through DQ drive through and the worker said "oh my gosh a new baby. (she then looked at my mom and said) wow you look great!" My dad responded "the trick is don't let them rest. Got to get up and moving right away." My dad, always the jokester!
